Alan’s Front Yard May 25

When I started working on Alan’s front yard he requested that I replace an ornamental grass in the raised bed between the sidewalk and the street in front of his house. I think this ornamental grass is called ‘Ribbon Grass.’

This raised bed is located in the lower right corner of the picture by his dog Cooper (I think Cooper is eating it).

The grass is surrounded by hostas and gets shade most of the day.

I removed the grass and planted these small evergreen shrubs called ‘Emerald Gaeity.’ They have green and white variegated leaves. This will keep the color theme that Alan had originally planted.

These evergreen shrubs are shade loving and can grow up to 4’ tall and 4’ wide.
